Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SnapSync platform and related services ("SnapSync", "we", "us", or "our"). By using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service
SnapSync provides software-as-a-service tools—including via our web portal and WhatsApp-based workflows—for document intake, AI-assisted data extraction, and integrations (such as Google Workspace). Features and availability may change over time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must comply with applicable laws and these Terms when using the service.
3. AI extraction and financial data
Our service uses artificial intelligence to assist with extracting and structuring information from documents you submit (for example, invoices, receipts, or agreements). AI outputs may be incomplete, incorrect, or inconsistent. Extractions may occasionally contain errors. SnapSync does not provide accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice.
You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and reconciling all financial and business data before relying on it for compliance, reporting, payments, or any commercial decision. You should retain original documents and perform your own checks as required by your policies and regulators. SnapSync does not guarantee compliance with LHDN e-Invoicing or any tax or regulatory requirement; you remain responsible for final compliance, and such requirements may change from time to time.
4. Credits, fees, and acceptable use
Certain features consume credits or are subject to fees as described at checkout or on our website. Purchases are governed by our Refund Policy. You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to circumvent billing or technical limits, or use the service in violation of law or third-party rights, including for fraud, money laundering, or any unlawful purpose.
5. Fair use of the WhatsApp Automation System
Where we offer a WhatsApp Automation or messaging automation, you agree to use it fairly and only for legitimate business purposes related to your SnapSync subscription. Without limitation, you must not:
- Flood, spam, or overload our systems or WhatsApp infrastructure with excessive or abusive volumes of messages or files;
- Use the bot to harass others, distribute malware, or send unlawful content;
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or automate access in a way that bypasses our intended flows or security controls;
- Share access tokens, session data, or credentials in a manner that allows unauthorised use of your workspace.
We may throttle, suspend, or terminate access if we reasonably believe fair use is violated or the service is being abused.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of documents and data you submit. You grant us the rights reasonably necessary to host, process, and improve the service as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the right to submit such content.
7. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties not expressly stated herein, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose where allowed.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SnapSync and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim (or, if less, the minimum allowed by law).
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SnapSync and its affiliates, officers, and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with your use or misuse of the service, the content or documents you submit, your violation of these Terms or any applicable law, or your infringement of any third-party right.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time by contacting us or using any account-closure option in the portal. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, create legal or security risk, or for prolonged inactivity, with notice where practicable. On termination your right to use the service ends immediately; unused credits in a closed or terminated account are forfeited except where a refund is required under our Refund Policy or applicable law; and we will delete or anonymise personal data associated with your account within a reasonable period after closure, except where retention is required for legal, accounting, security, or dispute-resolution purposes as described in our Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including the AI and financial disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.
11. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the service, are governed by the laws of Malaysia. You and SnapSync submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, with venue in Selangor, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under Malaysian law. Before commencing formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute by first contacting the other using the details in these Terms.
12. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SnapSync regarding the service. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
13. Changes
We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
